OrthoIndy Now Open in Bloomington with New Physician Dr. Brian Murphy

OrthoIndy is now accepting patients at its newest clinic location in Bloomington. The facility is located at 3209 W. Fullerton Pike, Suite A, Bloomington, Indiana 47403. OrthoIndy Bloomington at Monroe Medical Group includes: 4 exam rooms, digital imaging and casting. Outpatient procedures will be performed at Monroe Hospital.

Based in Indianapolis, OrthoIndy is one of the most highly respected orthopedic practices in the Midwest. With over 70 physicians providing care to central Indiana residents from more than 10 convenient locations, OrthoIndy provides bone, joint, spine and muscle care. OrthoIndy physicians also provide care to the Indiana Pacers, Indiana Fever and Indianapolis Indians.

Fellowship-trained surgeon, Dr. Brian Murphy of OrthoIndy will be treating patients at this facility. Dr. Murphy’s primary practice focus is on robotic assisted anterior hip replacements and outpatient knee surgery. He also focuses on ankle, hip, knee, general orthopedics and total joint replacements.

Dr. Brian Murphy attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology in 1996 and a master’s degree in physiology and biophysics in 1997. He received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis in 2001.

In 2004, Dr. Murphy completed a research fellowship at Ilizarov Frame Application in Lecco, Italy. He then completed an orthopedic surgery residency at University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center in 2006 and an adult reconstruction fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois in 2007.
