OrthoIndy welcomes two new orthopedic physicians

Dr. Kosmas Kayes

Dr. Kosmas John Kayes graduated with honors from Indiana University in Bloomington in 1986. In 1990, he received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis.

In 1991, Dr. Kayes completed his residency in general surgery and in 1995, he completed his residency in orthopedic surgery, both at Indiana University Medical School. He then completed a pediatric orthopedic fellowship at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis in 1996. In 2016, he completed an orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky.

Prior to joining OrthoIndy, Dr. Kayes was assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at Riley Children’s Hospital for nine years before he moved to Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital for another nine years.

Dr. Kayes is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Association of Pediatrics, Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine, United Cerebral Palsy Association Indiana Chapter and American Gait and Clinical Movement Society.

Troy Roberson, MD

Dr. Troy Roberson attended Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana and graduated in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in general health sciences. He received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana in 2010.

Dr. Roberson completed an orthopedic surgery residency at University of Tennessee Campbell Clinic in Memphis, Tennessee in 2015 and a orthopedic surgery sports medicine and shoulder reconstruction fellowship at Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas in Greenville, South Carolina in 2016.

Dr. Roberson is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Arthroscopy Association of North America.
